Thompson’s transportation group provides roadway and bridge designs to a range of clients, mainly state, county, and city transportation departments across the Southeast. Maintaining and building aging infrastructure is a challenge. Budgets are shrinking. The costs of materials are rising. Roadways are over capacity, meaning more motorists are using roads designed for fewer travelers.
We look for efficiencies first as we approach transportation projects, allowing owners to get more for their money. We do this with a multidisciplinary approach that draws on the talents of our in-house resources.
