Thompson Engineering worked collaboratively with the Town of Dandridge and interested citizens and stakeholders to develop a master plan for downtown Dandridge and its waterfront.
The purpose of the Waterfront Master Plan was to connect the economic interests of the historic downtown, fishing tournaments, and other tourism elements with the needs of the citizens and adjacent residents by promoting a mix of viable social and economic opportunities including connection to the water, commercial potential, public use areas, and event space.
Thompson provided Dandridge with a phasing and implementation plan (including a timeframe for approvals from parties with land rights), priorities for implementation, and budgets for each phase, including funding strategies to leverage the Town’s assets.
